Difference between Windows XP Home Edition Regular/Retail and OEM:
The only difference between the two is, what serials they will accept. OEM will only accept serials from OEM PCs (HP, eMachines, Dell, Gateway, Toshiba, any computer from a manufacturer), not retail serials (I.E. if you bought Retail from newegg.com or Wal-Mart to put on a PC you built, or a PC to upgrade, something like that). That's why this is especially good for people formatting their PC, BUT they bought a manufacturer PC, however I have included serials in the archive the disc will accept if you do not have a manufacturer's serial, so if you don't own a legit copy of Windows XP and you want to reformat this is perfect for you also. It is not missing any features that Retail Windows XP Home Edition has.
