the path of whom Thou hat blessed,not of those against whom Thou art wrathful,nor of those who are astray

بسم الله الرحمن الرحیم
in the name of God, the Merciful,the Compassionate


الحمدلله رب العالمین
Praise belongs to God,the Lord of all Being,


الرحمن الرحیم
the All-merciful,the All-compassionate,



مالک یوم الدین .
the Master of the Day of Doom .



ایاک نعبد و ایاک نستعین .
Thee only we serve;to Thee alone we pray for succor.



اهدنا الصراط المستقیم .
Guide us in the straight path,



صراط الذین انعمت علیهم غیر المغضوب علیهم و لا الضالین.

1.بسم الله الرحمن الرحیم
هذا ما امر به عبدالله علی امیرالمومنین مالک بن الحارث الشتر فی عهده الیه حین ولاه مصر :
In the Name of God,the Merciful,the Compassionate
This is that with which 'Ali,the servant of God and Commander of the Faithful,charged Malik ibn al-Harith al-Ashtar in his instructions to him when he appointed him governor (http://www.daneshju.ir/forum/vbglossar.php?do=showentry&item=governor) of Egypt :





2. جبایةَ خراجها، و جهاد عدُوِّها، و استصلاح اهلها، و عمارة بلادها.
to collect its land tax,to war against its enemies,to improve the condition of the people and to engender prosperity in its regions.



3. امره بتقوی الله و ایثار طاعته ، و اتباع ما امر فی کتابه : من فرائضه و سننه
He charged him to fear God , to prefer obedience to Him(ovr all else) and to follow what He has directed in His Book-both the acts He has made obligatory and those He recommends.


4. التی لا یسعد احد الا باتباعها، و لا یشقی الا مع جحودها و اضاعتها.
for none attains felicity but he who follows His directions,and none is ove come by wretchedness but he who denies them and lets them slip by.



5. و ان ینصرالله سبحانه بقلبه و یده و لسانه، فانه جل اسمه قد تکفلَ بنصر من نصره و اعزاز من اعزّه.
He charged him to help God-glory be to Him-with his heart, his hand and his tongue, for He-majestic is His Name-has promised to help him who exalt Him.



6. و امره ان یکسر نفسه من الشهوات و یزعها عندالجمحات، فان النفس امارة بالسوء الا ما رحم الله.
And he charged him to break the passions of his soul and restrain it in its recalcitrance,for the soul incites the evil,except inasmuch as God has mercy.
