این تاپیک برای آموزش مهارت خواندن در زبان انگلیسی هستش. در این تاپیک شرایطی کاملا تفریحی و شاد رو در هنگام خواندن تجربه خواهیم کرد .
متنهایی در اینجا قرار میگیرند که به ترتیب از متون ساده شروع میشن و به متنهای پیچیده ختم میشن .
در انتهای هر متن نکاتی که برای بهتر خواند شما موثر هستند ذکر خواهد شد.

3. Brian went to the doctor.




Brian went to the doctor.
His mother took him there for a checkup.
He also needed to get a flu shot, so he was a little nervous.



After Brian and his mother arrived at the doctor's office, they sat in the waiting room for about ten minutes.
Then a nurse called for Brian.
He and his mother went to another smaller room and the nurse told Brian to step on a scale.
She weighed him and measured his height.
Next, the nurse took his blood pressure and asked him some questions.



When the doctor came into the room, he listened to Brian's heart and his breathing with a stethoscope.
He checked Brian's eyes, ears, nose, mouth, and other parts of his body .
He was a very nice doctor.



At the end of the visit, the nurse returned with a small syringe.
When Brian saw the needle , he started to cry.


"This is going to be fast and easy," said the nurse.
"You don't want to get the flu, do you?"
The nurse rubbed a little alcohol on his upper arm.
Brian turned his face away.
He knew the shot was necessary.
Soon it was over.
The nurse put a bandaid on his arm and gave him a sucker.



After the visit to the doctor's office, Brian and his mother went to the park.
Brian was happy to know that he won't need another shot until next year when he visits the doctor again.

Leonardo and Rachel each have a cat.
Leonardo's cat is gray. Rachel's is orange.
His is small. Hers is quite large.
They both love cats.

Leonardo's cat is named "Stormy."
Stormy is a female cat.
She's a playful kitten, but sometimes she bites.
Last year Stormy ran away.
Leonardo was very sad, but then the cat came back.
Now he keeps her inside and doesn't let her out of the house.


Rachel received her cat as a gift when she was just six years old.
Rachel named him "Leo."
Leo is a male cat.
Now he's old and he sleeps all the time.
Leo likes to go outside and catch mice.
He stays in the neighborhood and he always returns at night.

Who gave Rachel her cat? Leonardo did.
He's Rachel's grandfather!

نکاتی در مورد مهارت خواندن در زبان انگلیسی

همین الان که این متن را می خوانید ذهنتان در حالت بسیار فعالی قرار دارد؛درست است که نویسنده کار سختی (نوشتن)انجام داده است.اما خواندن یک متن هم کارهای زیادی را شامل میشود که ذهنی هستند.وقتی متنی را می خوانید باید این کارها را انجام دهید:

در ذهنتان مطلب مورد نظر را تجسم کنید.

سعی کنید منظور اصلی نویسنده را بفهمید.

در مورد درستی یا نادرستی مطالبی که می خوانید فکر کنید.



فواید خواندن

وقتی یک زبان خارجی می آموزید گوش کردن،صحبت کردن و نوشتن مهارت های مهمی هستند.اما خواندن نیز می تواند خیلی با اهمیت باشد.به طوری که حتی باعث تقویت مهارت های زبانی دیگر هم می شود :

یادگیری لغت به طور ضمنی

شما معمولا هنگام خواندن متن با لغات جدیدی روبرو می شوید، اگر متنی که می خواهید لغات جدید زیادی دارد این متن مناسب سطح شما نیست بهتر است از متن های ساده تر شروع کنید.مثلا پنج لغت نا آشنا در هر صفحه مناسب است.این لغات کم را به راحتی یاد خواهید گرفت.لازم نیست برای معنی همه لغات به فرهنگ لغت مراجعه کنید ؛ معنی بعضی از لغات را می توانید از بقیه متن بفهمید.(Guessing meaning from context )

یادگیری الگوهای نوشتن

وقتی متنی می خوانید،با ساختار جملات و عبارت ها آشنا می شوید.یعنی از همین ساختارها می توانید الگو بگیرید و در نوشتن استفاده کنید.

سرعت در خواندن

با هر سرعتی که راحت تر هستید بخوانید؛می توانید یک صفحه را در ده دقیقه بخوانید یا در نیم ساعت .این کاملا بستگی به شما دارد.ولی وقتی صحبت می کنید یا گوش می دهید این انتخاب سرعت به راحتی ممکن نیست.این یکی از فواید بزرگ خواندن است که افراد می توانند با هر سرعتی که می خواهند متون را بخوانند.

مطالبی را بخوانید که علاقه دارید

اگر به متن انگلیسی که برای خواندن انتخاب کرده اید علاقه داشته باشید خواندن برای شما بسیار لذت بخش خواهد بود.مثلا اگر می خواهید در مورد فوتبال بخوانید چرا اخبار انگلیسی مربوط به فوتبال را نخوانید با این کار هم اطلاعات کسب خواهید کرد و همزمان زبان انگلیسیتان را تقویت خواهید کرد.

پنج نکته در مورد خواندن (Reading)

نکته 1 : متنی را بخوانید که مناسب سطح شما است .اگر هر سه کلمه که می خوانید مجبور باشید به فرهنگ لغت مراجعه کنید ،به زودی از این کار دلسرد خواهید شد.

نکته 2 : لغات نا آشنا را ثبت کنید .بهترین روش ثبت کردن لغات استفاده از جعبه لایتنر است.

نکته 3 : در دوره های منظم و کوتاه بخوانید.مثلا اگر هر روز پنج دقیقه مطالعه کنید بهتر است از اینکه در یک روز دو ساعت مطالعه کنید.

نکته 4 : وسایل لازم را فراهم کنید: یک ماژیک برای هایلایت کردن کلمات مشکل،فرهنگ لغت،دفترچه یادداشت لغات یا فیش های جعبه لایتنر،یک خودکار برای نوشتن کلمات جدید

نکته 5 : کتاب،مجله و متنی را انتخاب کنید که به آن علاقه دارید.

Stan likes to ride his bike.
He rides to and from work every day, and he rides his bike on the weekend for recreation and fun.
Sometimes he rides on a bike path, but more often he rides in the street along with regular traffic .

Stan wears a helmet for safety, and he always signals his turns when riding in traffic .
He stretches his left arm out straight when making a left turn, and he stretches his right arm out straight when making a right turn.
State law in Minnesota requires that people on bikes ride on the right-hand side of the road.
Also, according to state law, drivers of cars must give bicyclists at least three feet of space when passing.

It's fun to drive a go kart

It's fun to drive a go kart.
All you need to do is to step on the gas and off you go.
The steering wheel helps to maneuver the vehicle, and a foot brake helps to stop it.
It's very easy to drive.

Number 13 is Frank's go kart. He built it himself.
He and other people whose hobby it is to build and race go karts meet at this track on the weekends.
Almost all of the people who compete do it for fun, but some members of the racing association he belongs to are serious about winning when they race.

Gas-powered go karts can reach speeds of up to 30 miles per hour.
It might feel much faster than that when you ride in one because go karts are low to the ground, and the ride is a little bumpy.

Stan lost his job.
He used to work as a manager in an office, but his company let him go because business was down.
Now he spends his days looking for work.


Stan receives unemployment benefits from the state where he lives.
He'll receive money for up to one year.
After that time, he can request an extension of his benefits, but he hopes to have a new job before then.
At 61, he's not ready to retire.



He's not used to waking up late or not having anything to do during the day.
He's also not used to relying on the government for help.
The whole situation is very frustrating.

B. be used to

be used to indicates that someone has adapted to a new situation.
The situation was difficult or strange or awkward in some way, but then everything was okay.
You can also use the verb "get" in place of the verb "be" -- get used to.

The plum trees in my backyard are in full bloom.
Against a blue sky and green grass, the white flowers are beautiful,
but we have to enjoy this time while it lasts because the petals usually fall to the ground within a week of opening up.



Normally, these trees don't fully blossom until mid-to- late April, but spring came early this year.
The bees are out today, and there are even a few butterflies hovering over the flowers.

These trees have a very soft fragrance.
You have to press your nose up against the flowers to smell their sweet perfume.
The large, ornamental plum tree nearby has a stronger scent, but it doesn't produce any fruit.

Last year we didn't get any plums from these trees.
Birds stole the ones that reached ripeness, and the others fell to the ground.
It was a bad year for plums.
I think it was because of the weather.
This year we look forward to a good harvest and a lot of juicy fruit.

A man was praying to god.
