نمایشگاه خودرو توکیو هر دوسال یک بار برگزار می شود و حالا این نمایشگاه برای سال 2011 در ژاپن در حال برگزاری است.
این نمایشگاه از 30 نوامبر 2011 آغاز شده و 176 شرکت کننده از 12 کشور مختلف در این نمایشگاه حضور دارند که با افزایش قابل توجه 36 درصدی نسبت به نمایشگاه قبلی در سال 2009 که 129 شرکت کننده داشت همراه بوده است. علاوه بر این فضای نمایشگاه که در سال 2009 به 21823 متر مربع بود هم اکنون به 35151 متر مربع رسیده است.
